Conway Bucket Tote
Materials needed Tshirt yarn 12mm crochet hook Large tapestry needle or something to weave in your ends. (I used the largest size Susan Bates finishing needle)
Stitches used
MR - magic ring SS - slip stitch CH - chain DC - double crochet SK - skip
Notes
CH 1 does not count as a stitch CH2 counts as a stitch CH3 counts as DC+CH 1
Gauge
Round 3 should measure 8 1⁄2 inches across Bucket tote stands 10 inches tall (not including handles)
Round 1 - Magic ring, CH 1 then 12 dc into the ring. Pull tight. Join to the first dc with a ss. (12)
Round 2 - Ch 1 and 2 dc in the same stitch and in each stitch around. Join to first dc with a ss. (24)
Round 3 - Ch 1 and 2 dc into the same stitch, dc in next stitch, *2 dc in next stitch, dc in the next* repeat from * around. Join to first dc. with a SS (36)
Round 4 - Ch 1 and dc in the blo in the same stitch and in each stitch around (36)
Round 5 - Ch 3 (counts as a stitch plus a Ch 1) skip 1 dc and dc in the next. *ch 1, sk 1, dc in the next. Repeat from * around. Join to the second ch in the beginning ch 3 with a ss
Rounds 6-10 - ch 3 *dc in the next dc, ch 1. Repeat from * around. Join to the second ch in the beginning ch with a ss.
Round 11 - ch 2, dc in each stitch and ch 1 space around (36)
Round 12 - ch 1, sc in 5, ch 10, sk 9, sc in the next 9, ch 10, sk 9, sc in the last 4. Join to first sc with a ss.
Round 13 - ch 1, sc in 5, 10 sc around the previous round’s ch 10, sc in 9, 10 sc around the previous round’s ch 10, sc in the last 4. Join to first sc with a ss.
Break yarn and weave in all ends.
Fill with anything your heart desires!
